Brazilian Zouk Freiburg

At our Brazilian Zouk dance school in Freiburg, we offer classes, workshops, bootcamps, private lessons and 6 Hours of Zouk as Intensive Group Private Classes. The programme is for absolute beginners with no prior experience, beginners, advanced dancers and dancers switching to Zouk. Levels range from beginner and Basic 2 to intermediate and advanced.

Brazilian Zouk is a modern partner dance from Brazil that emerged in the 1990s. It is known for flowing movement, partner connection, body awareness and interpreting the music together.

Brazilian Zouk developed in Brazil in the early 1990s from Lambada. It became a partner dance of its own, with its own technique, connection and musicality.

Brazilian Zouk is not limited to one single music genre today. What matters is the rhythm, dynamics and mood and how both partners express the music together through movement.

You can sign up for our dance classes in Freiburg without a dance partner. You book as a leader or follower. We rotate partners during class. If you have questions about your dance role, we can help before you book.

Quickstarter and beginner offerings are for absolute beginners with no Zouk experience. Basic 2, intermediate and advanced offerings require Zouk knowledge at the stated level.

Wear your own style and choose clothes that feel comfortable and let you move freely. We recommend comfortable, flat dance shoes. You can also dance in socks.

For our Freiburg workshops and classes, you buy tickets online in the ticket shop. You can pay with PayPal or through Stripe by credit card and, depending on your device and availability, with Google Pay, Apple Pay, MobilePay or Revolut Pay. The payment methods currently available to you are shown during checkout. Festival tickets (Bachata Zouk Royals, BachaZouk Festival) are sold online in the respective ticket shop. For private lessons and 6 Hours, we arrange payment and scheduling individually by message.
